What is Concierge Medicine?

Concierge medicine is a smart, cost-effective, results-driven solution for most healthcare needs. It’s for normal people of any socio-economic status to take control of their health. Concierge providers offer preventative, not reactive care and can manage the whole medical picture instead of sending you for unnecessary specialist referrals. Traditional doctors have less time to spend with each patient, so they may have to order more tests and procedures to diagnose an issue, which further increase patient costs.

What you are paying for with concierge medicine is more time, attention, and access to your provider. With built in time to research, we can find you answers if we don’t know them. What value is a doctor who is not available when you need him or does not have enough time to treat the cause of disease or diagnose and correct a problem before symptoms start?

With the high overhead of a medical practice, a provider would need to see 20 -25 patients a day to be profitable in a traditional model and need about 2000 patients to survive with decreasing insurance reimbursement rates. At 400 patients maximum and 5-10 patients a day, we can provide tangible results at roughly the same profit margins.

Our Concierge Services

Family members receive 20% off memberships and consultations. Dependent minors of a member with uncomplicated current medical condition do not require a membership (services billed at normal non-member rate). No membership required for pregnant women under the care of a midwife or OB (services billed at normal non-member rate).

Access to Provider via e-mail only for routine health questions/concern. Email will be checked on business days only. Otherwise, contact office line, texting method, or office e-mail during business hours.
20% discount on supplements.
Subsequent visits after consultation will be billed to insurance, Medi-Share or $50 per 15 min for cash pay. Co-pays are not included.
2 same-day urgent office visits annually ($30 urgent fee waived). Subsequent same-day visits will incur the additional $30 fee each time after.

You will have the ability to convert Consultation to the Basic or Premium Plan with full credit towards the price, which would, in effect, make VVCM your PCP (Most end up making this switch).

This plan is best for chronic multisystem disease sufferers with high deductible insurance plans or cash pay. Insurance is not billed except if required by law.

House or Assisted Living Calls: $40 + $3 per mile driven + price of appt
IV nutrition / medication $120 first hour, $30 each additional hour
IM or SQ injection: $12 + wholesale cost of drug or vitamin
Nebulizer (breathing) treatment: $25 + wholesale cost of medication
Simple Laceration Repair, Suturing/Stapling: $120
Incision and Debridement: $120
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy: $150
EBOO: $1,300

Cigna (Does not work with independent NPs)

Medicaid or Dual-Medicare/Medicaid policies (Does not align with practice model, cash pay only)

What You Need to Know About Your Appointment

Once we send you an invitation to the patient portal, using a computer (not a smartphone), please sign all required forms and fill out your personal information including insurance or cash-pay status and medical, surgical, family, and social history and any chief complaint questions assigned. This information is transferred directly into your chart, saving you from having to fill out intake forms when you arrive for your visit. Please also bring:

A Detailed List of your Medicines

All compounded meds / OTC / supplements / injections. We import pharmaceutical meds from pharmacy records.

Previous Labs/ Imaging/ Provider Notes

You can email, fax, or physically bring them to your appointment. We can also request your records 1-2 weeks ahead of your visit.

What to Wear

Loose and Comfortable Clothing. New patient visits may last 1-2+ hours so dress comfortably.
